Today, international affairs and issues related to American’s role in the world are of extreme importance in the upcoming Presidential races. Iowans are in a unique position to discuss these issues with the candidates as they travel to our state.

Joe Biden will speak at the first of a series of Presidential candidate forums solely focused on international relations. All Presidential candidates from major political parties will be called on to share his or her views. This series is sponsored by the U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy and Greater Des Moines Committee on Foreign Relations. We encourage dialogue and ‘Q & A’ between you and each candidate.

The Honorable Joe Biden, U.S. Senator from Delaware, is seeking the Democratic nomination. Senator Biden has served on the Senate since 1974, and currently serves as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.
