U.S. Senator Christopher Dodd (D - Connecticut) addressed a large gathering and the national media at the second Forum on International Relations, held Wednesday, April 11 in Des Moines, Iowa. Senator Dodd took this major speaking opportunity to announce his foreign policy vision and announced that, if elected, his Presidency would strengthen America and begin an era of "bold engagement".

"We are very excited to have Senator Dodd here as the second speaker in our International Relations Forum series," said Ann Schodde, Executive Director, U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy. "The U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy understands the vital resource of the American citizen in this process," she added. "And by facilitating discussions on Americans' role in international relations, we are hoping to stress that every citizen, no matter their age or occupation, is a citizen diplomat."

Senator Dodd is the second speaker to participate in the Forum on International Relations, a unique and timely series of forums presented by the U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy and the Greater Des Moines Committee on Foreign Relations.
