2010 AABF Nominations and Applications Now Being Accepted!

The Zamala! Arab & American Business Fellowship Program is now accepting applications and nominations for its 2010 program. Since 2007, AABF program has been sending young business professionals from the Middle East and United States on a three-week international exchange. This program serves to foster professional development, economic growth and business relationships as well as promote cross-cultural understanding and respect.

Young, professional men and women from the United States are sent to begin the program in New York before embarking to the Bahrain, Palestine, and the United Arab Emirates. Those coming from the Middle East also begin in New York before visiting Washington DC and one other mid-western city: Chicago, IL, Des Moines, IA, or Midland, MI. The program runs from October 17 through November 6, 2010. For a detailed description of the program, to apply, or to nominate a young business professional, please visit the U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy's website.

Sponsored by the Young Arab Leaders (YAL), Business for Diplomatic Action (BDA), and the U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy(USCCD), the AABF will successfully send young business professionals on a reciprocal exchange to learn about each other's culture and business practices by participation in seminars, cultural events and executive mentoring by companies in both the United States and Middle Eastern countries. This marks the fourth consecutive year of success and growth for the Zamala! AABF program.
