“One Story a Day…”

“One Story a Day…”

Sometimes it is easy to fall into a cycle where we are too caught up in our daily lives that we forget to note the presence of the bigger world around us. At other times, we think about getting involved in our own communities, but something else comes up and we get sidetracked. It is during times like these that reading or knowing about other people who live lives that are similar to ours and yet find time to make impacts in other people's lives may help us jump into action.

When we started our Share your Story campaign, we did not know how many stories we were going to get and what they were going to talk about. But as it is evident in our Share Stories page, our fellow citizen diplomats have been active in all corners of the world. Gaya was finding her way through the vibrant bustle of Sandanga market in Dakar, Senegal, John was singing "Under the sun, under the moon / We breathe the air, one on one, me and you" in Paris, Katie was learning about Morocco and  Christel was finding ways for children to help other children.

We have over 100 such inspiring stories on our Stories page. If you have a story that you would like to share, please send it to us.
