Concordia Language Villages offers summer youth scholarships
Attention all language enthusiasts! If you are looking to spend the summer learning a new language, or harnessing language skills you already possess, there are scholarships available to help you attend one of Concordia Language Villages' fifteen summer immersion language camps in: Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Finnish, Danish, Swedish, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, English, Norwegian, and Norwegian.
Scholarships are available to youth (7-18) participating in one of the above mentioned immersion programs. The majority of these scholarships are awarded based on need. Also, depending on what language program you participate in, there may be additional instructions and requirements to the application. Last year, 552 villagers received Passport Fund Scholarships from Concordia. 60% of applicants receive scholarships.
Concordia Language Villages have been a leader in language and cultural immersion programs for over 50 years. It strives to bring peace and understanding to our world through the acquisition and knowledge of many of the world's most commonly spoken languages.
Part of engaging in citizen diplomacy is being able to communicate cross-culturally and possessing knowledge of the world around you.
