Attention Alabama Residents! ISC to host Transformative Justice Conference

The International Services Council of Alabama, a USCCD member organization, will host the Transformative Justice Conference on Oct. 4 and Oct.5. The conference titled "Immigration Challenges for Communities" will be a two-day event hosted at the SpringHill Suites in 745 Constellation Drive, in Huntsville, Alabama.
Attending the event has a cost of $40, but it includes the reception, luncheon, sessions and materials. This event was organized to help people understand immigration. Regardless of differing views and opinions on the immigration issue, being well-informed and having a broader understanding can be beneficial to confronting challenges in a proper and effective way.
It is truly a great opportunity to take a multifaceted approach to understanding how immigration affects the United States.
On Tuesday, Oct. 4, the conference will begin at 6 p.m. with a networking reception and then a screening of "Not in Our Town". The events will continue at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5 and will end at 4:15 p.m. A variety of different speakers, lectures and screenings will take place throughout the day.
A full-agenda of all the offered events is listed here.
