What Chas Phillips Believes

Having served in 3 wars zones, Croatia, Serbia and Chechenya, I am confirmed that conflicts arise from cultural misunderstanding that are exploited by political leaders to advance their own agenda.

As USA citizens we have much to give but we also have much to learn from others. I am pictured here in the photo with the Minister of Peace in Nepal. We have a Minister of Defense (War) perhaps we should consider a minister of peace.

We just celebrated this year the 50th Anniversary of Peace Corps. John F Kennedy envisioned that 100,000 volunteers would join the US Peace Corps every year. After 50 years even counting the technocrats we have only reach 250,000. How different would the world be today if 5,000,000 Return Peace Corps had enriched our understanding of the world?
